Jp's Muffinz Story
As a little girl, I hated to read and struggled to learn. One day, my mom bought me a cookbook filled with simple recipes. I was fascinated by the beautiful photographs, and how great everything looked. I spent hours poring over the cookbook, sounding out words, and memorizing the ingredients. Eventually this helped me learn to read.
As I got older, I developed a passion for baking. I loved the precision and creativity that went into making delicious muffins, cookies, and cakes. I started to bring my baked goods to school to share with my classmates and teachers. They loved them, and would often request them for their family’s special occasions. The school also had bake sales, and all of my baked goods would sell out immediately because everyone wanted to eat them. When I joined the Varsity Swim Team, I started to bring my baked goods to practices and swim meets. The boys and girls teams were usually famished after swimming, and they literally devoured everything. There was one time I remember, when the Team coach, a very thin French guy, was literally chasing one of the male swimmers around the school bus, while the boy was popping the muffins in his mouth. They were literally fighting over my muffins. I loved the positive feedback and the chance to share my love and passion for baking with my schoolmates and teachers.
During my summers in College, I worked in the Beach Bakery, where I had the opportunity to serve customers and listen to what they wanted. As graduation from College was approaching, I decided to turn my passion into a business. I am using my delicious muffins recipes, which I developed and refined over many years and which were truly enjoyed by my classmates, teachers and friends. I’m sure that once you bite into one of my muffins, you will love them too.
